Iron Sky was a piece inspired from mount Rainer located in Washington state where I was born and raised. my father loves that mountain so this piece was created for him to capture the unforgettable scene you get for free if you live in Washington state. I also created this mountain with an alter ego, as in yes this mountain changed color under the black light or multi color light. this mountain has so many appearances I couldn’t be more proud of myself for being able to capture more then just a memory I have visting the mountain or the hundreds of photos me and my family obtain of this mountain.

Reborn

Reborn is a very meaningful painting that I created based off a real life experience. my younger sister had a emergency surgery that saved her life when she was just sixteen years old. as a result from this surgery she had to have a partial hysterectomy leaving her with a scar that she didn’t want to remember. the night her ovary flipped and ruptured she would have died had my parents never taken her to the hospital. in the end she ended up getting a Phoenix covering the whole left side of her body and the feathers were placed so precisely that the scar was covered up. I remember asking her, “why the Phoenix” and she said “ because when a Phoenix dies it is reborn” “ and that night I felt like I was given a second chance at life” so in honor of my sister and what was a very scary dramatic experience, I painted this piece the biggest and most detailed I have ever created to celebrate her and her new life. this painting also has an alter ego and is reborn when the lights shut off and the uv light is brought out.

The Good Shepherd

The Good Shepherd was inspired by a close friend that goes by the name “Captain”who has helped me and my husband through so many obstacles spiritually and mentally. Captain was an online friend that I met playing a video game and we clicked instantly, captain not only was a great friend but also a great mentor as he helped guide me with my faith. I am forever thankful for him and his family as he never turned me down when I had questions while on my way to the lord but he would sit with me and talk for hours and make the bible and learning our father so much fun and addicting. he really is a great friend that I thank the lord for everyday. true friendship like his is so hard to find now a days and one night while praying I was asking for guidance to help me help him when he was having a hard time spiritually in his life and this image had appeared in my mind and I knew right there that this was gods plan not only for me but for him.
